- FTA (Federal Transit Administration)
- PHMSA (Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration)
- FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
- USCG (United States Coast Guard)
Current Random Testing Rates
The following chart outlines the annual minimum drug and alcohol random testing rates established within DOT Agencies and the USCG for the current year.

Employers and C/TPAs subject to multiple DOT agency rules may combine employees into one random selection pool.
- However, they must test at or above the highest applicable testing rate across all agencies involved.

USCG-covered employees may be included in DOT testing pools, even though the USCG is now part of the Department of Homeland Security.
